Is it safe to travel Nepal?
Nepal
has been suffering with political unrest since the Maoist insurgency
started. This is, so called public movement that is being campaigned
for constituent assembly. According to rebel chairman the current
constituent is not able to address 25 million of people in Nepal.
The mission of this insurgency is to reform a constituent assembly
on round table talk with all parties and leaders of civil society.
Rebel’s politburo has declared that they are not terrorizing
to aid worker, volunteer, travelers etc. There is no a single evident
that proves a foreigner has been abducted, made hostages and any
other human casualties.
Past
few years there were an agitating tension between government and
political parties. The royal regime has paralyzed human rights,
fundamental rights since the country has been coup by king. Recently
the people protested against royal regime. Eventually the regime
has kneel down inffront of public voice then resurrected the parliament.
Now people of Nepal are optimist the revived parliament will be
able to form a constituent assembly then bring to rebels in political
main stream.
Our
previous volunteer has had an experience during insurgency and agitating
time please see then what they say about the political situation
of Nepal.
